When you fill out an estimate request, inspection request, contact form, or signup form, we collect what you enter. That can include:

Like most websites, the Site and our web host automatically record basic technical information when you visit. - Perform and document the work if you hire us, including your contract, photos, and warranty records

We’ll only call or text you about the request you sent us or work we’re doing for you.
Photos of your project
We photograph every job as part of the Black Oak Standard, and those photos are shared with you. We won’t use photos of your home in our marketing without your permission, and we won’t publish your name or street address with them.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers who help us run the business, such as our web host, email provider, and form and website tools. They use it only to provide their services to us.
- With our crews and suppliers, when they need it to do work on your project (for example, an address for a delivery).
- When the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.
- With your consent, for anything else.
If we later use an email service such as Brevo to send the tips you asked for, your name and email will be stored with that service.
Email choices
Every tips email includes a way to unsubscribe, and we honor requests promptly. You can also email info@blackoakcompany.com and ask to be removed.
How long we keep it
We keep estimate requests and project records as long as we need them to serve you, back our workmanship warranty, and meet legal and tax requirements. Then we delete them or keep them secure.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send sensitive information such as Social Security numbers or bank details through the Site. If a security breach affecting your personal information ever occurs, we’ll notify you as Arkansas law requires.
Children
The Site is meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

The Site may link to other websites, such as manufacturers or social media. Their privacy practices are their own.
